Vote for the Winners in Our 2022 “I Love My Dog Bed” Contest—and Maybe Win Something for Yourself!

by anonymous | 2022-12-06
Choose only 3 of these photos–easier said than done!

On November 1, we launched our our “I Love My Dog Bed” Photo Contest, which required entrants to take photos of their dogs in bed and post them to the Orvis Facebook or Instagram page, along with the hashtags #OrvisDogs and #WhyADogBed. After poring over hundreds of entries, our crack team of in-house judges has come up with 10 finalists–which was no small task.

Take a close look at the 10 photos below , and  then choose your three favorites. Use the widget at the bottom of the page to vote. The photographers are competing for some great prizes, including a $500 Orvis Gift Card, an Orvis ComfortFill-Eco™ Couch Dog Bed, and a Tough Trail Chuckwagon Dog Tote filled with toys and treats.

We’ll also give a personalized Tough Trail™ Dog Collar  to one randomly selected voter at the end of the contest, as well as a randomly selected person who posted a photo of them picking up trash while fishing.

Important Note: To be eligible to win the collar, you MUST leave a comment about the photos in the comments section below. (That’s the only way we’ll know who you are, since the poll widget doesn’t collect data on voters.)

Voting ends at 11:59 p.m. on SUNDAY, December 11th, and we will announce the winners as soon as we can notify them.

So choose your three winners, hit the “vote” button, and then leave a comment below!

Here are the finalists, in alphabetical order. (Click on each photo for a larger version.)

The best way to leash train a dog is to get them comfortable wearing their collar and attached leash around the house, then slowly introduce them to walking inside while you’re holding the leash. Then, add commands like “come” and “wait” while they’re wearing the leash. Finally, teach them to “heel” by offering treats immediately at your side while they walk beside you. Once they are comfortable with basic commands on leash and can “heel” without pulling on the leash, try taking them outside for real-world practice. What Is Loose-Leash Training?Loose-leash training teaches your dog that it is b
